Una lechuga reposaba sobre la mesa
y empezó a moverse con prudencia,
algo bajo ella se observa,
un ser con una mirada tierna
y pestañas gruesas.
De la lechuga toma una hoja
y se la pone como ropa,
un atuendo de apariencia graciosa
con elegante tonalidad verdosa
y se marcha orgulloso de la zona.
A lettuce lay on the table
and began to move cautiously,
something beneath it could be seen,
a being with a tender gaze
and thick eyelashes.
It took a leaf from the lettuce
and put it on like clothing,
a funny-looking outfit
with an elegant greenish hue,
and walked away proudly from the area.
Llega hasta la ciudad capital
y la observa con serenidad,
sale en busca de algo especial
y regresa con un árbol real,
él quiere decorar el lugar.
También busca una montaña,
marrón y bastante alta,
la trae, aunque es pesada,
de un edificio la amarra
y de nuevo se marcha.
He arrives at the capital city
and observes it calmly,
he goes out in search of something special
and returns with a real tree,
he wants to decorate the place.
He also looks for a mountain,
brown and quite high,
he brings it, even though it is heavy,
ties it to a building
and leaves again.
Sigue acarreando vida natural,
árboles, montañas y de más,
tras un tiempo prudencial,
ha transformado el lugar,
hizo de éste una ciudad irreal.
Los edificios ya no están,
este ser buscaba un hogar fenomenal,
sabía que no lo iba a encontrar
y por eso lo hizo con serenidad,
ahora vive feliz en este ambiente natural.
It continues to bring natural life,
trees, mountains, and more.
After a reasonable amount of time,
it has transformed the place,
turning it into an unreal city.
The buildings are gone.
This being was looking for a phenomenal home.
It knew it would not find it,
and so it did so with serenity.
Now it lives happily in this natural environment.
It’s wonderful to see patience, creativity and love for the natural world transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. A story that makes you pause and smile.
