Hola amigos de la comunidad Gems, hoy me salí de mis cuentos para mostrarles el proceso de creación de un personaje pequeño. Hace unos días mi mamá me regaló una moto muy pequeña Hot Wheels amarilla, es que ella pensó qué me podría servir para algún cuento y sí, yo ya la he usado para eso. Sin embargo pensaba que necesitaba un compañero, un motociclista de su tamaño, quien pudiera hacer rodadas por el mundo en ella. Por eso me puse manos a la obra para crear este pequeño amigo.

Hello friends of the Gems community, today I left my stories to show you the process of creating a small character. A few days ago my mom gave me a very small yellow Hot Wheels motorcycle, she thought it could be useful for some storytelling and yes, I have already used it for that. However, I thought I needed a companion, a biker of its size, who could ride around the world on it. So I set to work to create this little friend.

Proceso de elaboración / Elaboration process

Lo primero fue tomar alambre y hacer el esqueleto de lo que sería nuestro muñeco. Aquí tuve dificultad porque el alambre que tengo es de un calibre muy grueso para figuras pequeñas, pero es lo que hay y mientras hayan materiales, se hará un lindo trabajo. Una vez había logrado la forma deseada, cubrí el alambre con trozos de tela y pegamento, para esto corto en tiras la tela y voy envolviendo desde las puntas hacía el centro.

The first thing was to take wire and make the skeleton of what would be our doll. Here I had difficulty because the wire I have is of a very thick gauge for small figures, but it is what there is and as long as there are materials, it will be a nice job. Once I had achieved the desired shape, I covered the wire with pieces of fabric and glue, for this I cut the fabric into strips and wrap it from the ends to the center.

Para el rostro, corte dos óvalos y como la figura era pequeña preferí hacer los ojos, la nariz, las cejas y la boca con hilo color negro. Finalmente añadí cabello negro. El cuerpo lo había cubierto con tela color piel, para poner ropa usé la misma técnica de usar tiras de tela y colocarla de forma envolvente, usando azul para el pantalón y rojo para el sueter. Por último uní el cuerpo con la cabeza y listo, quedó listo el motociclista para la pequeña moto.

For the face, I cut two ovals and as the figure was small I preferred to make the eyes, nose, eyebrows and mouth with black thread. Finally I added black hair. The body I had covered with skin colored fabric, to put clothes I used the same technique of using strips of fabric and placing them in a wrapping way, using blue for the pants and red for the sweater. Finally I joined the body with the head and that was it, the biker was ready for the little motorcycle.

Y así quedó el motero, un chico fresco y apuesto, que recorrerá el mundo en su moto, sintiendo la brisa del viento. Eso sí, es responsable y no excede la velocidad, porque sabe mos riesgos que hay. Así es como le doy un valor agregado a la moto Hot Wheels amarilla, creando un conductor apto para este fin y con licencia de conducir vigente je, je. Espero les haya gustado la construcción de este personaje que desde hoy contará historias mientras rueda en una moto de juguete.

And so was the biker, a cool and handsome guy, who is going to travel the world on his motorcycle, feeling the breeze of the wind. Of course, he's responsible and doesn't speed, because he knows the risks involved. That's how I give an added value to the yellow Hot Wheels motorcycle, creating a driver fit for it and with a valid driver's license heh, heh. I hope you liked the construction of this character that from today will tell stories while rolling on a toy motorcycle.
