Así le ocurrió a la vela,
que llegó a la oscuridad inmensa,
ahí alumbró sin pena
y alegró a una calabaza enferma,
que se sentía en las tinieblas.
Era un fruto abandonado,
que desde Halloween fue olvidado
y cuando llegó la vela brillando,
lo alegró demasiado
y juntos se quedaron.
So it happened to the candle,
that reached the immense darkness,
there it shone without sorrow
and cheered up a sick pumpkin,
that felt itself in darkness.
It was an abandoned fruit,
that since Halloween was forgotten
and when the candle came shining
it cheered it up too much
and together they stayed.
Las velas no son eternas,
se gastan y sin luz quedan,
pero para estos dos eso no fue problema
y ahí permanecieron en la escena,
aunque se agotará la incandescencia.
La vela se agotó
y la calabaza junto a ella permaneció,
dos olvidados se acompañan hoy
y se valoran,
porque los mejores amigos son.
Candles are not eternal,
they wear out, and they are left without light,
but for these two that was no problem
and there they remained on the scene,
