El reto

Lo retaron a ser pragmático
que demuestre en su lírica
el poder del verso enigmático,
como lo hizo Leonardo
en sus años de antaño.

Le pidieron poemas
de dimensiones épicas
en el que la palabra tenga
sentido de ética cómo el Dalai Lama
cuando le preguntan de guerra .

Le solicitaron que escribiera
con mesura a alguien que él conociera
y al modo que lo quisiera
como lo haría Neruda
al inspirarse en su musa.
