Kind regards to the ¨Hive.blog¨ community, my name is José Gutiérrez and I am from Venezuela, my mission on this platform is to share with you my work as a musical composer, specifically in the branch of ¨Digital-Music-Composition ¨

My musical training could be considered self-taught, I was an electric bass player in bands of the genre ¨Rock¨ and ¨Metal¨ and for a short period I was learning Contrabass and the basics of Solfeggio in a small orchestra in the city where I live.

After a while I developed more interest in composition, which made me make the decision to focus my energy on it and put the interpretation aside, it was at that moment when I began my self-taught journey to find a way to capture the melodies that had in my soul.

In order to achieve this, 3 things were necessary:
1-Review the basic knowledge in Solfeggio that I learned in the orchestra.

2-Find music composition software that I feel comfortable with.

3- Compose the music that I was passionate about since I was a child (music in the style of classic video games).

My main influence and motivation when composing has always been clear to me, is the magical music of video games and its wonderful composers who have had the creative ability to bring different situations to life with their melodies.
Without further ado, in a future post I will tell you about some of my favorite composers in the video game industry and I will also share my music with the entire ¨Hive.blog¨ community.
