Tried another boat and reflection.. this one has some colours in the reflection ..
Sketch:
Sky with cobalt blue and ultramarine. Started with some nice clouds in the sky... Later realised that the top part of the boat is also white so had to remove the clouds
Added the reflection and blues of the boat. And finally the water.
The paper was not good. Can see lot of patches in this painting and previous one too. Got a bad lot 😞
The dark blues of the ocean needed to be darker.. but somehow it wasn't coming up well .. may be it's the paper again

I really enjoyed seeing your artistic process. It is too bad about the paper although I cannot see the flaws. Perhaps I do not have the eye of an artist? Or does it not come through in the photography? Maybe, though, you are too critical of it? Great stuff!
Thank you so much.. the dark spots and patches you can see in the sky.. might look like dry leaves flying in wind.. those are the ones caused by faulty paper.. it's more like grease on paintwork 🙂
