[ESP-ENG] INICIATIVA: 3 fotos y su historia || INITIATIVE: 3 photos and their story

Hola hola! Hace unos días me encontré con una muy buena iniciativa propuesta por @engerbetms, en donde podemos compartir fotos que nos ayuden a contar una historia relacionada a ese momento.

_{Hi Hi! A few days ago I came across a very good initiative proposed by @engerbetms, where we can share photos that help us tell a story related to that moment.}

Para mí la fotografía es una forma perfecta de recordar, me lleva justo al momento en que las tomé y sin duda alguna podría colocar una gran cantidad de fotos en este post, pero escogí aquellas que no son las mejores fotos sino historias que me marcaron.

_{For me photography is a perfect way to remember, it takes me right to the moment I took them and without a doubt I could put a large number of photos in this post, but I chose those that are not the best photos but stories that marked me.}

El día que más susto he pasado

Yo amo la playa, incluso he compartido en varias oportunidades acá en #Hive, es de los paisajes que más fotografías tengo, por la cercanía a donde vivo y porque de verdad es el lugar perfecto para descansar, recargar energías.

_{I love the beach, I have even shared several times here in #Hive, it is one of the landscapes that I have the most photographs, because of its proximity to where I live and because it really is the perfect place to rest, recharge.}

Desde siempre me han gustado las playas de olas, porque soy de las que se lanza a ellas, por la adrenalina que me genera, sin embargo nunca había pasado un susto tan grande por ellas. Ese día el oleaje estaba muy muy muy fuerte, decidimos igual meternos, felices hasta que cuando quise salirme no pude.

_{I have always liked wave beaches, because I am one of those who throws myself into them, because of the adrenaline it generates in me, however, I have never had such a great scare for them. That day the waves were very very very strong, we decided to get in, happy until when I wanted to get out I couldn't.}

En ese momento, la corriente continuaba arrastrándome a la profundidad, y ola tras ola me arrastraba, comencé a debilitarme porque ya no tenía fuerza para nadar contra corriente, allí fue cuando me empecé a desesperar: me estaba ahogando, de verdad pensé que no iba a salir de ahí nunca. Logré salir, no recuerdo cómo, pero será para mí una experiencia que no olvidaré.

_{At that moment, the current continued to drag me to the depth, and wave after wave dragged me, I began to weaken because I no longer had the strength to swim against the current, that's when I began to despair: I was drowning, I really thought I was not going never to get out of there. I managed to get out, I don't remember how, but it will be an experience for me that I won't forget.}

El día perfecto existe

El año pasado por la pandemia, no había podido ir a la playa como acostumbraba, debido a las restricciones; pero cuando permitieron el acceso a lugares públicos fuimos a ese lugar que tanto amo.

_{Last year due to the pandemic, I had not been able to go to the beach as I used to, due to the restrictions; But when they allowed access to public places, we went to that place that I love so much.}

Era la primera vez en casi un año en ir a la playa, pero se trataba más que eso, era respirar aire fresco de nuevo, tomar sol, reírme, disfrutar y no pensar en nada más que en: que bello es este lugar.

_{It was the first time in almost a year to go to the beach, but it was more than that, it was to breathe fresh air again, sunbathe, laugh, enjoy and think about nothing but: how beautiful this place is.}

Fue el día perfecto, y para completarlo justo llegando a mi casa nos recibió un hermoso arcoíris en la ciudad, algo que no veía desde hace bastante tiempo. Este recuerdo me ayudó a agradecer por las pequeñas cosas, nunca dar nada por sentado y la naturaleza es un regalo.

_{It was the perfect day, and to complete it, just arriving at my house, we were greeted by a beautiful rainbow in the city, something I had not seen in a long time. This memory helped me to be thankful for the little things, never taking anything for granted and nature is a gift.}

Mejor reír para no llorar

Aquí en la ciudad hay una gran montaña llamada Ávila, a la cual había accedido siempre por el teleférico, pero desde hace un tiempo se ha hecho muy común el subir a pie a este lugar. Como muchas personas, mis amigos y yo nos animamos a esta aventura.

_{Here in the city there is a great mountain called Ávila, which I had always accessed by cable car, but it has become very common to climb this place on foot. Like many people, my friends and I are encouraged to this adventure.}

El recorrido empezó buenísimo, la vista era incomparable y poco a poco el camino se iba poniendo más difícil, más empinado y con bastantes obstáculos, pero a fin de cuentas estábamos preparados hasta que: empezó a llover.

_{The route started out great, the view was incomparable and little by little the road was getting more difficult, steeper and with many obstacles, but in the end we were prepared until: it started to rain.}

Aquí en Venezuela existe un día al año que le llaman el Cordonazo de San Francisco, donde es la lluvia MAS FUERTE de todo ese año, dura HORAS, pues nosotros no consultamos el tiempo y sí era justo el Cordonazo ese día. Estábamos a mitad del recorrido, justo en la parte más complicada.

_{Here in Venezuela there is one day a year that they call the Cordonazo de San Francisco, where it is the HIGHEST rain of all that year, it lasts HOURS because we do not check the weather and it was just the Cordonazo that day. We were in the middle of the journey, right in the most difficult part.}

La lluvia no nos dejaba ver el camino, la tierra pasó a ser lodo, por lo cual en vez de caminar nos tocó arrastrarnos, estábamos desesperados de que no cayera la noche, no había más nadie en el lugar, y allí es imposible pedir auxilio. Nos deslizamos por las rocas, utilizamos troncos como anclaje, etc.

_{The rain did not let us see the road, the earth became mud, so instead of walking we had to crawl, we were desperate that night would not fall, there was no one else in the place, and there it is impossible to ask for help. We slide down the rocks, use logs as anchors, etc.}

Cuando vimos justo el punto de llegada, yo no podía creer lo que habíamos pasado, seguía lloviendo. Pero recuerdo que nos miramos y nos reímos, de lo sucios que estábamos, y de que nos pasara eso, por lo menos lo recordaré para siempre.

_{When we saw just the point of arrival, I could not believe what we had been through, it was still raining. But I remember that we looked at each other and laughed, how dirty we were, and that that happened to us, at least I will remember it forever.}

Mi recomendación es vean el clima antes de ir a un lugar y también debemos saber reconocer ciertos peligros. Pero sobre todo, les recomiendo nunca dejar de tomar fotografías y si pueden compartan sus historias también con esta iniciativa!

_{My recommendation is to see the climate before going to a place and also recognize certain dangers. But above all, I recommend you never stop taking pictures and if you can share your stories with this initiative too!}
