Breaking the habit

"I want to break the habit of being satiated with just feeling and not knowing how to distinguish the reason for what I feel..."

Breaking the habit

Making full use of the senses
does not necessarily mean
exercising their mastery...
it is rather an act
naturally imprecise

In fact having,
"Self-control," is nothing like limiting oneself,
but, it is to manage the desire
so as not to lose oneself to the perception
of the world

"It is a difficult task
to curb the sensitive,
as punishment,
it would seem to transform
a free man into one who is repressed..."

-:-

I wonder:
How far is it good to look?
How much should I listen?
Taste, touch...
How do I restrain my senses?

If the eyes go by themselves
and the ears naturally
are like sponges,
touch is necessary in a dark room
in a dark room
to be able to distinguish shapes

"To perceive the world half-heartedly
is like playing blind,
like tasting food
without ever eating it, it is like acquiring
only half of the knowledge..."

-:-

I want to break the habit
of being satiated with only feeling
and not knowing how to distinguish the reason
of what I feel

A sunset is admirable
and equally passing,
it serves a perfect time
enough to wish to see it again

"It is not failure
to arrive late to meet him,
the distance that separates us
is only an uncertain thought"

-:-

The senses are there
to make us effective,
you cannot restrict
the use of a tool
for learning

The survival method
that makes us human,
although sometimes
feeling equals suffering,

But to love will never be bad
even when you love too much"

"It's a matter of breaking the habit,
of being satiated with just feeling
and not knowing how to distinguish the reason
of what I feel"

It is not about setting limits to the senses,
but knowing how to use them,
to feel intensely as humans
and suffer what is right,
distinguishing the good from the bad...
