Hola queridos amigos de Hive, continuando con mi viaje a la hermosa ciudad de Chile tuve la oportunidad de conocer algunas de sus principales ciudades, como Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso y Concepción. Un viaje con estadía de 12 días donde conocí personas maravillosas y muy atentas que nos mostraron a mi compañera de viaje y a mí su bello país.
En mi viaje visité el reloj de Flores, que se encuentra a los pies del cerro Castillo, en Viña del Mar. Un reloj ícono de la ciudad y que no puedes dejar de ver, su mecanismo fue construido en la fábrica Favag de Suiza y fue adquirido por la ciudad en el año 1962, está rodeado de hermosas flores.
Hello dear friends of Hive, continuing with my trip to the beautiful city of Chile I had the opportunity to visit some of its main cities, such as Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso and Concepción. A trip with a stay of 12 days where I met wonderful and very attentive people who showed my travel companion and me their beautiful country.
On my trip I visited the Flores clock, which is located at the foot of Cerro Castillo, in Viña del Mar. An icon clock of the city that you cannot stop seeing, its mechanism was built in the Favag factory in Switzerland and was acquired by the city in 1962, it is surrounded by beautiful flowers.
También visitamos el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, ubicado en la ciudad de Santiago. El museo es uno de los principales centros de difusión de las artes visuales en Chile y es el primer museo de arte en Latinoamérica.
We also visit the National Museum of Fine Arts, located in the city of Santiago. The museum is one of the main centers for the dissemination of visual arts in Chile and is the first art museum in Latin America.
Otra de nuestras paradas fue el Centro cultural Estación Mopocho, ubicado en el Parque de los Reyes, en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Santiago. Está ocupando el edificio de la antigua Estación Mapocho dela Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado. Un espacio destinado a la preservación del patrimonio y divulgación de la cultura en Chile. Es un edificio maravilloso que alberga, sala de artes, cafés, restaurantes y patio central en dónde se presentan espectáculos culturales, y dónde cada año se organiza la feria de libro. Además, sus sótanos, están divididos por salas en donde practica la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Chile.
Another of our stops was the Mopocho Station Cultural Center, located in the Parque de los Reyes, in the historic center of the city of Santiago. It is occupying the building of the old Mapocho Station of the State Railways Company. A space for the preservation of heritage and dissemination of culture in Chile. It is a wonderful building that houses an arts hall, cafes, restaurants and a central patio where cultural shows are presented, and where the book fair is organized every year. In addition, its basements are divided into rooms where the National Symphony Orchestra of Chile practices.
