Interesting to see the contrast of some of the residences there. It seems there's not much going on in the village and I don't see a lot of people too.

I think the nicer residences - they probably rent it out for homestays. Yes, I didn't see a lot of people while I was there too. I think most of the younger generation would be working and living in the cities.

You can go for a day trip. Have lunch there, walk around, and then come back. That's what a lot of Singapreans do - go there to eat seafood.
