Taking advantage of my participation in the Photo Quest launched by @qurator with the abstract theme, I decided to delve a little deeper into abstract photography, a style that I knew but had not given much importance to; So I took my camera and started looking for lines, patterns and textures and colors around me.
This first image, which from my point of view is the best, because it perfectly expresses the concept of the abstract; It is an iron plate that has been oxidizing over time, you can see different textures, colors and patterns, all done naturally with the passage of time and weather.
On the left we can see a kitchen towel, with a spongy and rough, a little uneven texture. On the right you can see a surface with more colors, shapes and textures, here everything seems a little more uniform, it is a photo of a piece of marble.
In the following images on the left side it is a close-up of a coil of cd's, the lights and shadows that mix create an interesting pattern giving it a similarity to the waves of the water. Next to the right, I took advantage of the light that filtered through some blinds and captured the patterns that formed.
Finally in these two images I used my two pets; the first shot is my cat's fur, where it could be seen soft and thin, on the right side is a macro of my dog's fur, its fur is thick and rough, i try to show the difference between the two as they are opposite textures.
