Experimenting with double exposure photography

in GEMS5 years ago

This is my entry for photo quest carried out by @qurator, with the double exposure theme. After looking for information and seeing some examples about it, it can be concluded that not everyone follows the same rule, so to speak, since some leave traits visible in the base image and in others you usually see only the image of background so there is no exact pattern to follow.

This time I decided to use my dog Maiden as a base image and a brick wall as a background photo, I tried different backgrounds to make this something interesting.

In the following examples I continued using Maiden's base photograph, changed the background, on the left side a metal fence and on the right I used a wall of gray blocks.

I also wanted to experiment with sunset landscapes, with some shapes that clouds create in the sky and the sun's rays in fullness.

Finally, use as a background a photograph of the reflections on the surface of a lake that the last rays of the sun left behind.
