Being alone immortal might not be too fun, I agree. Specially losing the loved one can weigh too heavy on us. Those films are not too far off the mark IMO.
In reality, we may not become immortal ever but chances of prolonged life is not very in the future I believe. Gimme 300 years, I'm game. 😁
