Good morning pals, I will be sharing with us how I fixed a hand curve or hand collar to a shirt. This hand collar is not only found in shirts along but also in native kaftans and suits. This process can be done for any of these styles also the process is easy and straightforward.

MATERIALS USED

  • collar stay
  • thread
  • fabric

PROCESS

Fixing a hand collar is very simple and straight, the process goes thus:

  • Firstly you cut out the stay, and the normal size for the wrist for an adult is 9.75 by 3 inches.

  • Then gum to your fabrics.

  • Afterwards, turn it in using another pieces of fabric leaving half inch as sewing allowance to the sleeve.
