Desde hace unos meses atrás, la mitad de la ciudad de Caracas, específicamente las personas entre los 17 y 47 años que están en búsquedas de empleo, me conocen con el nombre de Beatriz González, una identidad profesional que tengo desde el comienzo en mi nuevo empleo.
Beatriz es el nombre de mi mamá, pero siempre me ha parecido un nombre con fuerza, con carácter exigente y de señora, tal vez por eso no me importó tanto decirlo en mis primeras entrevistas y llamadas 📞.
Al realizar mis primeras presentaciones con mi segundo nombre, sentí que perdía el nombre por el que tanto me conocen, con el que más me identifico,aunque poco a poco me fui dando cuenta que existe un balance entre “Oriana” y “Beatriz” (mis dos nombres).

Since a few months ago, half of the city of Caracas, specifically people between 17 and 47 years old who are looking for a job, know me by the name of Beatriz Gonzalez, a professional identity that I have since the beginning of my new job.
Beatriz is my mother's name, but it has always seemed to me a name with strength, with a demanding and ladylike character, maybe that's why I didn't mind saying it so much in my first interviews and calls.
When I made my first presentations with my middle name, I felt that I was losing the name by which I am so well known, the one I identify myself with the most, although little by little I realized that there is a balance between "Oriana" and "Beatriz" (my two names).

Cuando era pequeña, decía que me iba a presentar con mi segundo nombre a todas las personas, pero mientras pudiera (o en todo momento) lo haría con el primero. Me gusta mi primer nombre “Oriana”, siento que detrás de él hay una persona tranquila, reservada y amigable.
“Ori” u “Orianita” son dos de los apodos que más me han dicho a lo largo de mi vida. Nunca me he presentado con alguno de ellos, pero en algún momento sé que lo dirán, y no me molesta para nada, en cambio ya los siento como parte de mi, hasta me gusta como se escucha.
En mis momentos de libres me gusta realizar actividades que me ayuden a relajarme, como realizar dibujos o pintar alguno, escuchar música, ver cualquier tipo de deporte (para ser sincera no practico ninguno), me encanta comer dulces o helados, realizar manualidades como cajas de regalos y hablar con mis amigos.

When I was little, I used to say that I would introduce myself with my middle name to everyone, but as long as I could (or at all times) I would do it with my first name. I like my first name "Oriana", **I feel that behind it there is a quiet, reserved and friendly person. **
"Ori" or "Orianita" are two of the nicknames I have been called the most throughout my life. I have never introduced myself with either of them, but at some point I know they will say it, and it doesn't bother me at all, instead I already feel them as part of me, I even like the sound of them.
In my free time I like to do activities that help me relax, like drawing or painting, listening to music, watching any kind of sport (but I don't practice even one to be honest), I love eating sweets or ice cream, making crafts like gift boxes and talking to my friends.

Mi nombre es Oriana Beatriz González Gil, tengo 22 años, actualmente me encuentro estudiando psicología y trabajando como analista de captación y selección de talento para una empresa de Call Center, quizás ya se dieron cuenta jajaja 😆
Aprender cosas nuevas es lo que me gusta y desde que comenzó la pandemia, he tomado los pequeños minutos libres para anotarme en cualquier taller, curso o iniciativa que pueda sacarle provecho y que pueda desarrollar mis habilidades al máximo, por eso he realizado curso referente a mi carrera, de idiomas, de herramientas básicas de programación, intenté en repostería (aún debo mejorar), en diseños de redes y hasta de páginas web. Aún así espero seguir aprendiendo.
En este blog espero mostrarle a todos los hivers un poco de lo que yo hago como mis hobbies, un poco de cómo llegué a ser la persona que soy actualmente (historias pasadas), mis aspiraciones al futuro, recetas, manualidades, de entretenimiento, diseños y cualquier otro tema que sienta la necesidad de compartirles. Si, así es, aquí encontrarán un poco de todo.

My name is Oriana Beatriz González Gil, I'm 22 years old, I'm currently studying psychology and working as a talent recruitment and selection analyst for a Call Center company, maybe you already noticed hahaha 😆
Learning new things is what I like and since the pandemic began, I have taken the little free minutes to sign up for any workshop, course or initiative that I can take advantage of and that I can develop my skills to the fullest, so I have taken courses related to my career, languages, basic programming tools, I tried baking (I still need to improve), network design and even web pages. I still hope to keep learning.
In this blog I hope to show all hivers a bit of what I do as my hobbies, a bit of how I became the person I am today (past stories), my aspirations for the future, recipes, crafts, entertainment, designs and any other topic I feel the need to share with you. Yes, that's right, here you will find a little bit of everything.
En el futuro, espero que sea muy cercano, quiero obtener mi título universitario y poder ejercerlo, poder conocer el país de Canadá (una meta que tengo desde pequeña) y poder realizar todos los días lo que me apasiona.

Ya saben soy lo mejor de dos mundos jajaja una persona tranquila pero apasionada, tal vez un poco reservada pero con mucha fuerza de voluntad para seguir adelante, amigable pero algo exigente y tal vez con un segundo nombre de señora pero que no le gusta el café.
Quiero mostrarles el máximo de mi potencial, por eso dejaré atrás todo nervios y miedo que tenga. Espero que cada post no solo transmita algo de mi o mis ideas, si no que sea un contenido productivo y que les guste ❤️.

You know I'm the best of both worlds hahaha a quiet but passionate person, maybe a little reserved but with a lot of willpower to keep going, friendly but somewhat demanding and maybe with a middle name of lady but who doesn't like coffee.
I want to show you the maximum of my potential, that's why I will leave behind all my nerves and fears. I hope that each post not only transmits something of me or my ideas, but that it is productive content and that you like it.
