Hace dos días cuando llegué al trabajo llamé a "Pelotón" y me sorprendió que no respondiera a mi llamada, así que salí a buscarlo. Cuando lo encontré estaba justo en los pequeños arbustos donde siempre juega. Me di cuenta de que estaba herido, alguien le hizo daño o quizás otro gato le hizo daño.
Two days ago when I got to work I called "Peloton" and was surprised that he didn't answer my call, so I went out to look for him. When I found him he was right in the little bushes where he always plays. I could tell he was hurt, someone hurt him or maybe another cat hurt him.
Cogí un algodón y lo mojé en agua para limpiarle el ojo. Al parecer fue un golpe y sólo se veía sangre. Pensé que había perdido el ojo, pero cuando se lo limpié, no parecía tan grave, sólo hinchado.
I took a cotton ball and dipped it in water to clean his eye. Apparently it was a blow and only blood was visible. I thought he had lost his eye, but when I cleaned it, it didn't look that bad, just swelling.
Cogí una de mis cremas antiinflamatorias y le apliqué un poco, mientras se movía mucho por el dolor. Seguí aplicando crema y se calmó un poco. No quería comer, no quería nada. Sólo mantenía los ojos cerrados. Pensé que iba a morir.
I took one of my anti-inflammatory creams and applied some, while he was moving a lot because of the pain. I kept applying cream and he calmed down a bit. He didn't want to eat, he didn't want anything. He just kept his eyes closed. I thought he was going to die.
Busqué una caja y un paño para que durmiera. Lo cogí en brazos y lo dejé allí. No hizo nada, tenía mucho dolor. Me fui a dormir y tuve que esperar a que se pusiera mejor.
I looked for a box and a cloth for him to sleep in. I took him in my arms and left him there. He did nothing, he was in a lot of pain. I went to sleep and I just had to wait for him to get better.
Me desperté y allí estaba "Pelotón" con el ojo abierto y con mejor aspecto, la crema hizo su trabajo. Qué alegría.
I woke up and there was "Peloton" with his eye open and he looked better, the cream did its job. What a joy.
Fui a la nevera y saqué algunas de las ruedas de mortadela de pollo que tanto le gustan. Empezó a comer poco a poco.
I went to the fridge and got some of the chicken bologna wheels he loves so much. He started to eat little by little.
Unos minutos después llegó su amiguito. También le di unas rodajas de mortadela.
A few minutes later his little friend arrived. I also gave him some slices of mortadella.
Entonces "Pelotón" salió a percibir el sol de la mañana y el ambiente de este lugar. Caminó muy sereno y se detuvo.
Then "Peloton" went out to perceive the morning sun and the environment of this place. He walked very serene and stopped.
Pasé mi mano por su espalda y noté que estaba relajado, se sentía mucho mejor después de todo.
I ran my hand down his back and noticed that he was relaxed, he was feeling much better after all.
Empezó hacer sus necesidades básicas.
He started to do his basic needs.
Luego fui a la cocina y estaban cocinando sardinas. Busqué algunas para llevárselas a "Pelotón", cuando consiguió verlas saltó como un loco. Tenía mucha hambre y quizás no había comido desde ayer. Comió muy rápido y luego bebió un poco de agua.
Then I went to the kitchen and they were cooking sardines. I looked for some to take to "Peloton", when he managed to see them he was jumping madly. He was very hungry and maybe he hadn't eaten since yesterday. He ate very quickly and then drank some water.
Por la tarde fui a la zona wifi y a los pocos minutos apareció "Pelotón", se abalanzó sobre mí, mirando alrededor con mucha precisión, los gatos siempre están atentos a todo lo que se mueve.
In the afternoon I went to the wifi zone and a few minutes later "Peloton" appeared, he jumped on me, looking around very precisely, cats are always attentive to everything that moves.
Luego se subió a mis hombros mientras yo seguía mirando a mi alrededor. Luego fui a preparar mi cena e inmediatamente "Platoon" me siguió a mi habitación. Se parece a mi sombra cuando estoy en este lugar ese lindo gatito me sigue.
He then rode on my shoulders as I continued to look around. Then I went to cook my dinner and immediately "Platoon" followed me to my room. He looks like my shadow when I'm here in this place that cute little cat follows me.
Compartí algo de mi comida con él. Le gusta mucho el pollo y la mortadela de pollo.
I shared some of my food with him. He really likes chicken and chicken bologna.
De nuevo fui a la zona wifi y apareció "Pelotón". Un pequeño gato pasaba a lo lejos y "Pelotón" no dejaba de mirarlo.
Again I went to the wifi zone and "Platoon" appeared. A small cat was passing far away and "Peloton" kept looking at it.
Luego empezó a jugar con las cuerdas de los zapatos y fue cuando pensé que se sentía mucho mejor, está haciendo sus cosas de rutina. Bien por él.
Then he started playing with the shoe strings and that's when I thought he was feeling much better, he's doing his routine stuff. Good for him.
Se acerca la noche y el pelotón se ha recuperado muy rápido, veo que comer le da sueño. Ha tenido un buen día. Me alegra saber que está mejorando y muy rápido.
The night is approaching and peloton has recovered very quickly, I see that eating makes him sleepy. He has had a good day. I am glad to hear that he is improving and very fast.
