Hello, hive friends! I hope everyone is well.
Lately I have thought about making a series of publications dedicated to love; that word so easy to say but so complicated to put it into practice. In my attempt to try to understand those four letters I found that there are many similarities to the laws that govern nature: the laws of physics.
Quiero aprovechar este medio para demostrar que los conceptos fundamentales de la mecánica clásica, mecánica cuántica, termodinámica, electromagnetismo, entre otras, se pueden aplicar no solo a lo tangible sino también a los sentimientos que gobiernan nuestras relaciones humanas como el amor.
I want to take advantage of this medium to show that the fundamental concepts of classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, among others, can be applied not only to the tangible but also to the feelings that govern our human relationships such as love.
Las leyes de la física son fáciles de entender cuando las aplicamos a situaciones reales, por eso existen los modelos físicos; que parten de una situación ideal y luego se procede a realizar la parte experimental. ¿Pero será cierto esto aplicado a los sentimientos? Pues sí, podemos hacer ciertas similitudes.
The laws of physics are easy to understand when we apply them to real situations, that's why there are physical models; They start from an ideal situation and then proceed to carry out the experimental part. But is this true applied to feelings? Well yes, we can make certain similarities.
Para muchos, el modelo ideal en el amor es que para cada persona hay otra que la complementa totalmente y que permanecen unidos para siempre. Pero cuando vamos a la vida real nos encontramos que existen ciertos parámetros que impiden encontrar esa media naranja tan fácilmente, por eso hay muchas personas que pasan sus vidas buscando el modelo ideal de relación; lo que conocemos como experimentación, que muchas veces no resultan como se quiere. Ahí es cuando entra una de las leyes más importantes de la física: la ley de la gravitación universal.
For many, the ideal model in love is that for each person there is another that complements them completely and that they remain united forever. But when we go to real life we find that there are certain parameters that prevent finding that better half so easily, that is why there are many people who spend their lives searching for the ideal relationship model; what we know as experimentation, which often does not turn out as desired. That's when one of the most important laws in physics comes in: the law of universal gravitation.

Newton postuló que la fuerza de atracción entre dos cuerpos es directamente proporcional a la masas de estos e inversamente proporcional al cuadrado de las distancias que los separa.
Traducción: mientras menor sea la distancia entre dos cuerpos, la fuerza de atracción gravitacional entre ellos será mayor.
Newton postulated that the force of attraction between two bodies is directly proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distances that separate them. Translation: the shorter the distance between two bodies, the greater the force of gravitational attraction between them.
Cuando llevamos esto al campo del amor, nos damos cuenta que es exactamente lo que sucede con las parejas. Mientras más cercanas sean dos personas mayor será la fuerza que las une sentimentalmente. Lo contrario ocurre cuando por alguna razón están separados por un tiempo determinado, surgiendo toda clase de problemas entre ambos. Esto se debe a que la fuerza (el amor) ha disminuido con la distancia. A veces, no hace falta que la distancia sea tan grande como para observar las consecuencias, ya que el amor es también energía y como principio sabemos que ésta no se crea ni se destruye sino que se transforma. Por lo que se necesitan otros parámetros para que dos personas permanezcan juntas después de la atracción.
When we take this into the field of love, we realize that this is exactly what happens with couples. The closer two people are, the greater the force that unites them sentimentally. The opposite occurs when for some reason they are separated for a certain time, arising all kinds of problems between them. This is because strength (love) has diminished with distance. Sometimes, it is not necessary that the distance is so great as to observe the consequences, since love is also energy and as a principle we know that this is not created or destroyed but is transformed. So other parameters are needed for two people to stay together after the attraction.
Siguiendo con Newton; éste postuló la ley de gravitación universal para demostrar por qué los planetas giran en formas elípticas alrededor del sol, como dicen las leyes de kepler.
Continuing with Newton; he postulated the universal law of gravitation to show why the planets rotate in elliptical shapes around the sun, as Kepler's laws say.
Encontró que cuando éstos están más alejados del sol se mueven con menor velocidad que cuando pasan por un punto cercano a él, como consecuencia de la masa del sol, que atrae con mucha fuerza a los planetas, satélites y asteroides. Es decir, como un planeta se mueve más rápido cerca del sol emplea menos tiempo en recorrer la órbita en ese punto. Lo mismo ocurre en las relaciones de parejas cuando inician; se tiene la sensación que cuando están juntos, 1 hora es un minuto y cuando están separados un minuto es una eternidad. Es lo que yo llamo el efecto “luna de miel”.
He found that when they are further away from the sun, they move with less speed than when they pass through a point close to it, as a consequence of the mass of the sun, which attracts planets, satellites and asteroids with great force. That is, as a planet moves faster near the sun, it takes less time to orbit at that point. The same happens in couples' relationships when they start; you have the feeling that when they are together, 1 hour is a minute and when they are apart a minute is an eternity. This is what I call the "honeymoon" effect.

Esto sucede también con el sistema Tierra-Luna. Cuando la luna está muy cerca de la tierra en su órbita, se producen las mareas y el oleaje. Por lo que se espera que cuando dos cuerpos se atraen hayan consecuencias después de un tiempo determinado, llevándolos al caos o lo que en termodinámica se conoce como entropía, pero ese es un tema que requerirá otra publicación, ya que pasaremos de la mecánica clásica a las leyes de la termodinámica.
This also happens with the Earth-Moon system. When the moon is very close to the earth in its orbit, tides and swells occur. So it is expected that when two bodies attract there will be consequences after a certain time, leading to chaos or what in thermodynamics is known as entropy, but that is a topic that will require another publication, since we will go from classical mechanics to the laws of thermodynamics.
