Splinterlands Art Design
Hi everyone,
Today, I spent my time drawing and designing a card for Splinterlands to enter the contest. I will give some steps on how I created my art piece.
I first decided to make my card a summoner named "Kaitou the Thief" in the death class. I made the card layout here using regular pencil:
Next, I drew Kaitou in the frame of the card. I drew the card in my favorite anime style:
I finished by drawing some details and coloring in with colored pencil. I used black and purple colored pencil to fill in the spaces. I got a little lazy when coloring haha.
His ability is giving all minions sneak, which could be quite powerful. He costs 3 mana to play, and he is in the death splinter class
I really like his hair and clothing styles, and I made him a little bit annoyed looking.
It took me around 4 hours to draw this, and it was time I enjoyed.
His backstory is that he has stolen some bakery goods in the Shinjuku market using his death splinter magic, but he got caught and now has to pose in this mug shot.
