Greetings of the day Hivers!!!
After posting my first 7 Iftaar tables of this year's Ramadan month in the Foodies Beehive community, now for the 2nd week I will be sharing the next 7 tables on the Gems community for 7 straight days!

So, if you have been following my blog, since day 1 of Ramadan, I have been sharing all my daily Iftaar table exclusively on my Hive blog for everyone to get to know our culture here in Mauritius!

Start of the 2nd week!
First of all let me show you the full Iftaar table of today; that is the 8th one for this year!
The Snacks!
Today, we had only 3 fried snacks and all of them made by my mum!
Potato , Eggplant and Chili beignet served with 3 different sauces!
Tomato chutney, crushed chili and dates chutney!
The Main Event & Soup!
Woo-hoo...today for the main we had Red Snapper Tajine loaded with vegetables made by my wife!
Food cooked in a tajine taste just amazing! I will share some tajines recipes in the coming days!

The soup was made by ME and earlier I shared the recipe which you can check here!
It was a Crab soup with fish balls! No need to mention...it was super yummy!
Fruits & Drinks!
Fruits present on the table today were Custard Apple, Guavas, Starfruit and Plum!
On the drinks side, we had my usual Milk tea in my hive mug, water from my hive water bottle, Moroccan mint tea for my wife and fresh juices for the kids!
And Dates, Chebakia and Almond Briwat for the sweet tooth!
And just like that...the 8th fasting day of Ramadan is over here in Mauritius!
Stay tuned for my 9th Iftaar table tomorrow around this same time...or maybe a little earlier!
