➤ La palabra zodiaco es de origen griego. Proviene de “zodión” la cual significa "pequeña imagen de un animal". Es una franja estrecha del espacio de 18 º de ancho, sobre la que giraban según los primeros astrónomos en derredor de la Tierra, la Luna y los planetas conocidos.

➤ Esa zona llamada zodiaco, fue dividida en doce porciones, correspondientes cada una, a una constelación. Los doce signos del zodiaco, casas que el Sol recorre aparentemente en un año, tomaron su nombre de cada constelación y sus formas, en su mayoría animales, cada una de estas son:
❮ Aries (el carnero); Tauro (el toro); Cáncer (el cangrejo); Leo (el león); Escorpio (el escorpión); Capricornio (cabra con forma de pez en su parte posterior); Piscis (los peces). ❯

╚═════El Horoscopo, ¿cómo surgió y qué es?
➤ A raíz de esto se formó una definición social, construida por los 12 signos representantes de las constelaciones del Zodiaco y la posición de los astros. La cual es llamada "Horóscopo", este es un sistema predictivo, el cual se basa en realizar pronósticos basados en la posición de distintos astros influyentes en el momento de nuestro nacimiento, teniendo en cuenta la fecha y la hora y más que todo rigiéndose en el determinado mes de nacimiento. Asignándose así para cada signo zodiacal, uno o dos meses en específico. Estas predicciones son realizadas por un astrólogo al observar la representación gráfica del Zodiaco, puede interpretar el horóscopo rigiéndose en el Zodiaco, tomando en cuenta las posiciones de los planetas, las estrellas y la luna.
➤ El horóscopo por completo carece de sustento o respaldo científico, es decir, su contenido, sus pronósticos y adaptaciones no son confirmadas de ninguna forma, es un sistema de predicción y casualidad. Las coincidencias entre los pronósticos y la realidad son casuales pero, a través de un fenómeno psicológico, son más recordadas y valoradas que los numerosos errores del método.
➤ Una de las críticas más comunes a la astrología es que los signos zodiacales no coinciden con la posición astronómica de las constelaciones, de manera que más del 95% de la población no ha nacido realmente bajo la influencia de los astros que definen su signo.
➤ El horóscopo respalda que según nuestro signo zodiacal poseemos ciertas características, mayormente imbuidas en la personalidad, y que nuestro destino está influenciado por las fuerzas astrales.

Yo personalmente no creo en el horóscopo, pues, si nos ponemos a pensar todas las personas nunca serán de la forma en que los describren, siempre habrán variantes. Y nunca seremos los mismos, desde que somos niños, desde que pasamos ser adolescentes y luego adultos, tenemos cientos de cambios de actitud, en nuestra personalidad, nuestra madurez y la forma en que vemos y vivimos la vida. Por lo cual es imposible estancarse en una sola definición acerca de nuestra personalidad. Nuestra vida o nuestro destino no puede caracterizarse por la fecha en la que hayamos nacido, o la posición de los astros, como siempre he dicho, nosotros mismos somos dueños de nuestro destino.
➤ He de aclarar que aún así considero que no tiene nada de malo creer en el horóscopo, cada persona es libre de hacerlo, pero mi consejo es, amigos, no se dejen llevar.
