It's so intense in that area! Whew! Knowing every detail around there is literally a lifesaver in terms of stress. There was a place that sold charts/maps in San Pedro and years and years ago I would go in there and look at places to find possible surf breaks.
Now everybody just zooms on the satellite. It's pretty amazing though to see almost anywhere on the planet close up. It's wild how much empty coastline there actually is out there. Peru and Chile come to mind.
