I am planning on making an ancient tomb room -wait, welcome back, hello, how are you? I am doing alright thanks - This is the first part of the ancient tomb room, rune stone columns. I try to make them as modular as possible because they are gonna be 3D printed and used in a scene for different stories. The Dungen Master may prefer different things for the stone.
There are different types of columns for variation. Some of them cracked, ruined, some of them is plain, some of them has some rune letters carved into them. I wanted to visualize myself as a stone carver and try to make my shapes as simple as possible. I watched stone carving videos on Youtube and this is really had to do. While sculpting I use my delicate pencil to carve these stones, its really easy, and I might easily overcarve them ( if thats a word i dont know ) so simple was my goal here. And its so rare to have one single stone this big. Thats why I made them in parts. Easy to find and easy to build. I am glad I have another chance to use Zspheres in this model too.
