Good day, Hivers! What’s up? I hope you’re having a wonderful day. Today, I want to dedicate this blog to my friends. We all have messy days, don’t we? And who do we spend those days with? Of course, aside from my family, I also spend them with my friends. So for this blog, I want to give them a message from the heart.
To my friends,
Thank you for always being there for me and for listening to my rants. I know I’m one of the most fragile friendships you’ve had because when I’m hurt, I break so easily inside but you never made me feel alone. Even though we have different kinds of humor, you still manage to make me laugh.
These past months have been disappointing for all of us. Since the earthquake on the last day of September, we haven’t seen each other again. But still, we never became strangers. We continue to keep in touch on Messenger and Facebook… but I still miss our bond. I miss the moments when we genuinely laughed at each other’s jokes.
This is supposed to be our last year in high school where we get to spend time together, but calamities interrupted everything. I’ve never been clingy to people who aren’t related to me by blood, but you brought out the best in me. Among our circle, I have the strictest parents, and I’ve never even experienced going out with you but you still understand me. You respect my boundaries, and I appreciate that more than you know.
I still hope that maybe, just maybe, my parents will give me a chance, even just once, to bond with you before this school year ends. Because I miss our time together, and it’s only human to feel this way.
If you ever find or read this message, thank you for keeping me as your friend. Even though I’m a “boring” friend and a very religion-centered one, you never despised me. And I am beyond grateful for that.
