Hola amigos, el día de hoy les traigo una receta muy tradicional en mi país Venezuela, les hablo de tequeños de yuca, es un aperitivo muy rico perfecto para la merienda, fiestas y reuniones.

Hello friends, today I bring you a very traditional recipe in my country, Venezuela, I am telling you about yucca tequeños, it is a very delicious aperitif perfect for snacks, parties and meetings.

Ingredientes:
Yuca (½ kilo)
Harina de trigo (3 cucharadas)
Huevos (2 unidades)
Sal (1 cucharadita)
Pan molido.
Queso.

Ingredients:
Yucca (½ kilo)
Wheat flour (3 tablespoons)
Eggs (2 units)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Ground bread.
Cheese.

Paso a Paso / Step by Step

Comenzamos sancochando la yuca previamente lavada.

We start by boiling the previously washed yucca.

Una vez sancochado lo dejamos enfriar y luego lo rallamos. También podemos hacer puré, pero en este caso opté por rallarlo porque no estaba blando, es decir que con yuca dura también podemos hacer estos tequeños.

Once parboiled, we let it cool and then we grate it. We can also make puree, but in this case I chose to grate it because it was not soft, that is to say that with hard yucca we can also make these tequeños.

Seguidamente agregamos la sal, un huevo y amasamos.

Next we add the salt, the eggs and knead.

Luego añadimos la harina de trigo y amasamos hasta obtener una masa blanda. Si la masa le queda muy dura, agregue un poquito de agua.

Then we add the wheat flour and knead until obtaining a soft dough. If the dough is too hard, add a little water.

Agregamos un poco de aceite en las manos, extendemos un pequeña porción, agregamos el queso y luego cubrimos, lo pasamos por el huevo batido, luego por el pan molido y fiemos en abundante aceite hasta que se doren.

We add a little oil in the hands, we spread a small portion, we add the cheese and then we cover, we pass it through the beaten egg, then through the ground bread and let us fry in plenty of oil until golden brown.
