Using Hive.vote tool, you can set up your fan base & automate your upvote for your favorite and popular authors. More so, you can also customize your upvote and downvote mana and set the threshold limit so that your automation of upvotes works optimally for you.
So go to Hive.tool. Posting key authority is required for this. Then log into Hive.vote by using your Hive account's private posting key.
In the dashboard, first, go to "setting" and set the threshold of your upvote mana & downvote mana, etc.
Self-Upvote- Click on "edit" to set it either as "True" or "False". If you want to avoid self upvoting your post, then you can set it as "False".
Upvote Mana- Click on "edit" to set your upvote mana threshold. If the voting mana depletes below the threshold value then the automation of your upvotes will be paused until the upvote mana recovers above the threshold value.
Downvote Mana- Click on "edit" to set your downvote mana threshold. If the down-voting mana depletes below the threshold value then the automation of your downvotes will be paused until the downvote mana recovers above the threshold value.
Now go back to the Dashboard, and click on "Fan Base" in order to automate your upvote for your favorite author(s).
Enter the Hive username of your favorite author(s) without @. Then click on "Follow".
Now your upvote will be automatically cast once that author publishes a new post. It is always recommended to set & customize your "setting" of automated upvote. In the "setting", you can customize your Voting weight, the timing of voting(age of post), Daily limit, etc. By doing so will earn you optimal curation rewards.
So click on "setting" icon, set your Voting weight, choose the time to wait before voting(age of the post), Daily limit, etc. Finally, click on "Save Settings".
You can also "enable" or "disable" an author from automating your upvote by simply clicking on the slider bar and then click on "Save Settings".
You can also notice a "cross" icon, next to the "setting" icon. If you want to unfollow any author, then you can click on the "cross", confirm, it will remove that author from your Fan Base.
Note- The follower in Hive.vote tool is different from the "followers and following" in Hive Blockchain. In Hive.auto, the followers' list is the customization of Fan Base of selected authors for whom a user automate his upvotes using this tool. So don't get confused.
You can also select the "box" on the left side of the usernames in "Fan Base" and then customize your automated upvote for all/part at one go by clicking on "Setting for selections". Input the value for all the variables such as "Vote weight", "Time to wait before voting", "Daily limit", etc and then click on "Apply for selected Fans".
It is really a useful tool for automating your upvotes for your favorite authors. You can use the "setting" to customize your upvote in a way that can earn you optimal curation rewards.
