In order to unlock the characters we had to save the kidnapped friends of donkey Kong so that they later became allies of our adventures, each of the five characters that we manage to unlock in story mode will have basic skills, in addition to that we could buy extra skills For our character, these characters could be Cranky Kong, which was useful to solve some riddles of the video game, Donkey Kong can operate heavy levers to operate mechanisms within the map, Chunky Kong can lift rocks, Tiny Kong can crawl Through holes within the map, Diddy Kong which is another well-known character in the Nintendo universe and Donkey Kong can use the ability to fly, and Lanky Kong has the ability to float, in addition to the projectiles that we could launch remotely with each character could vary, which further increased the gameplay possibilities of the vi In addition to that, the video game had a multiplayer mode through another command, which consisted of six separate mini-games within the video game, where we could also obtain playable versions of Donkey Kong from 1981 and jetpac from 1983, which were fully compatible in Nintendo 64, this video game got very good reviews and in addition to that I also create many nostalgic moments in the players, one of the things that personally brings me the most memories and nostalgia for me, was the introduction music of the video game menu, also the moment in which we could meet the ghost of donkey Kong's grandmother in a kind of cave where you could find quite a few mysteries and curiosities of the video game, in short, great video game, excellent gameplay and one more jewel of the emblematic Nintendo 64..gif)
En este videojuego teníamos la posibilidad de jugar con varios personajes además de con donkey Kong, ya que este era el personaje con el que podíamos comenzar inicialmente en el videojuego, teníamos diferentes cantidad de misiones y también variedad de enemigos y mundos y mecánicas en la que teníamos que pensar y resolver la forma de poder superar los obstáculos que se nos presentaban en el mapa, en total teníamos 5 personajes lo cuales podíamos desbloquear por medio de completar algunas acciones dentro de la historia principal del juego.
Para poder desbloquear los personajes teníamos que salvar a los amigos secuestrados de donkey Kong para que posteriormente se convirtieran en aliados de nuestras aventuras, cada uno de los cincos personajes que logremos desbloquear en el modo historia tendrá habilidades básicas, además de eso podíamos comprar habilidades extra para nuestro personaje, estos personajes podían ser Cranky Kong, el cual era útil para poder resolver algunos acertijos del videojuego, , donkey Kong puede operar palancas de gran peso para poder accionar mecanismos dentro del mapa, Chunky Kong puede levantar rocas, Tiny Kong puede arrastrarse a través de agujeros dentro del mapa, Diddy Kong el cual es otro personaje bastante conocido del universo de Nintendo y donkey Kong puede utilizar la habilidad de volar, y Lanky Kong tiene la habilidad de poder flotar, además los proyectiles que podíamos lanzar a distancia con cada personaje podía variar, lo cual aumentaba todavía más las posibilidades de jugabilidad del videojuego, además de eso el videojuego contaba con un modo multijugador por medio de otro mando, que constaba en seis minijuegos separados dentro del videojuego, en donde podíamos obtener además versiones jugables de donkey Kong de 1981 y jetpac de 1983, que eran totalmente compatibles en Nintendo 64, este videojuego obtuvo muy buenas críticas y además de eso también creo muchos momentos nostálgicos en los jugadores, una de las cosas que personalmente me trae mas recuerdos y nostalgia a mí, era la música de introducción del menú del videojuego además también el momento en el que podíamos encontrarnos con el fantasma de la abuela de donkey Kong en una especie de cueva donde se podían encontrar bastantes misterios y curiosidades del videojuego, en resumen gran videojuego, excelente jugabilidad y una joya más de la emblemática Nintendo 64.

The Nintendo 64 is a jewel in video games console, I always loved all the kong games and the n64 version was a fantastic game and I do remember playing alot of Jetpack to beat my score, I really miss these kind of games not many of them out there now.
