Dragon ball budokai tenkaichi 3 fue un videojuego que mucha fama y relevancia en la plataforma de playstation 2, y considerado por mucho tiempo el mejor videojuego de dragon ball, ya que teníamos combates emblemáticos de la serie, además de tener un gameplay muy didáctico y divertido, en el que podíamos pasar disfrutando horas y horas de videojuegos con cada personaje del rooster que teníamos dentro del videojuego, además de eso otro aspecto interesante eran las transformaciones de los personajes, ya que podíamos utilizar las transformaciones en pleno combate, con el personaje en su forma base, ya fuera cell, freezer o algún personaje saiyan como goku, vegeta u trunks e incluso gohan.

En este videojuego también podíamos jugar en el modo de 2 jugadores con otro control conectado a nuestra consola para jugar con amigos, además de poder jugar con equipos formados por personajes de nuestra selección, este videojuego es la tercera entrega de la serie de budokai tenkaichi, en considerado uno de los mejores de la saga, inicialmente se tenía pensado lanzarlo bajo el nombre de Dragon Ball Z, pero el agregado de Budokai Tenkaichi 3 se debe a que este videojuego recoge la esencia y personajes y escenarios de diferentes sagas de dragón ball, como por ejemplo personaje de Dragon ball z, Dragon Ball Gt entre numerosas adaptaciones de películas de esta franquicia, teníamos incluso al personaje de broly en su aspecto antiguo, de hecho el personaje también presenta a un personaje de Akira Toriyama Ajeno a la saga de dragón en sí, a través de crossovers la cual Arale Norimakidel Dr. Slump.

En total teníamos un rooster de 161 personajes jugables, con lo que podíamos disfrutar de diferentes poderes y estilos de combate, en este videojuego teníamos personajes que no se habían vistos anteriormente en otros videojuegos de dragón ball, ya que incluso teníamos a los temidos ozarus en el juego, en diferentes versiones, y a cada respectivo saiyan que se encontraba en el juego, además de eso teníamos muchos ataques especiales con los que podíamos destruir a nuestros enemigos de forma brutal, en este videojuego se agregaron también nuevas técnicas con las que podíamos tener un gameplay mas competitivo y más épico, en los que teníamos técnicas como el Sonic Sway con el cual podíamos esquivar de forma rápidas los ataques de nuestros enemigos, Además de que podíamos recargar el ki de cada personaje, y teníamos barras de poder que nos indicaban el nivel de poder de nuestro personaje y dependiendo de dicho nivel podíamos ejercer ataques más fuertes o ataques más leves, y teníamos además el poder máximo con lo que podíamos lanzar una ataque final diferente con cada personaje con los que podíamos incluso destruir el escenario por completo.

Y como no podía faltar, este videojuego también se hizo famoso debido a que cuenta con una comunidad modder muy buena y que se ha encargado de traer muchos mods a este videojuego con lo que podemos lograr obtener nuevos personajes que han salido en la nueva serie de dragón ball y tener las nuevas transformaciones de personajes que se han visto en la actualidad, como por ejemplo Golden freezer, o el super saiyan dios, o el súper saiyan dios azul, además de tener algunos otros mods algo locos con los que podemos tener otros personajes que no son del universo dragón ball como por ejemplo Saitama de one punch, entre otros personajes pero por lo general el poder tener nuevos personajes en el juego por el medio de mods, es algo que de verdad es increíble, este videojuego me trae bastante recuerdos ya que lo disfrute bastante en mi consola de ps2 y actualmente es un videojuego que puede emularse con una iso personalizada en PC, sin duda alguna un gran videojuego de dragón ball.

Bodokai Tenkaichi 3 is my favorite Dragon Ball game I played (it has massive content,) and one of my favorite PS2 games ever! ...I thought DB Xenoverse will take the spot but it fell short in some aspects~
My favorite memory is when my cousin found a very overpowered combo and used to defeat us every time, we banned him from using SS2 Goku after a that.
I haven't tried any custom ISO but looks fun~
