Enjoying having our loving ones

Every once in a wile live strikes to our door reminding us anything we consider important becomes insignificant when dealing with health.

Thursday morning my mom 87 age fell while waking up and broke her leg. We took her to the hospital on an ambulance and yesterday she went through surgery.

I am planing a new trip to Portugal to harvest the olives and do some more stuff in the farm but as you can imagine everything has just stopped.

Surgery went well but she was allready using a walker and we may have to use the wheelchair from now on. She also suffers dementia and everyday was already hard before the accident, specially for my father who will become 90 at the end of the month.

They both have lived a wonderfull life but as years go by, you realise every additional day having them with us is a gift.
