An happy Saturday to all hivers here!
Like I wrote before, some days ago me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went to visit some interesting museums in my city. Starting from one week ago, in a museum in my city (Pistoia, Italy), there is a beautiful art exhibition titled "'60 Pop art" with 70 artworks (paintings, sculptures, collages and others) of the italian pop art different artists made in the '60. From Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, Franco Angeli to Mimmo Rotella, Mario Ceroli, Pino Pascali, Fabio Mauri, Jannis Kounellis, and others. It's really an important opportunity to watch those pieces in real and not just on the pics and so we went there.

I took just some pics of the artworks inside the museum, because when I visit art exhibitions I'm always very focused to watch the pieces and so I forget to take pics around. ^_^
Believe me, to watch these artworks in real gave me a lot of strong emotions, but it couldn't be the same just by the pics.
Some pieces of pop art were out of that museum, but they were in other small museums of ancient art, so people can watch contemporary art close to the classic/ancient art and the result, in my own opinion, is really fantastic .
For example, in the following pic you can see my hubby between an ancient large Arazzo called "Arazzo millefiori" and the contemporary piece called "The nest" by Ruffi (1972):

Around five years ago, one of the pieces sculpted by Paolo was part of an exhibition in this museum, but this art exhibition was just around the pop art artworks made in the 1960. Just to know, my favorite pieces of it are the ones made by Mario Schifano. :D
