Once upon a time.
There was a human with a heart of gold, and a mind wild like a never ending ocean.

And then he made a choice to dive deeper into the depths of his blue dreams.
I don't blame the choice of blue. It is a peaceful colour and keeps your mind in peace. And your heart at place.
I can't count the hours I have spend in my life staring at the horizon of the great blue Aegean sea lost in my thoughts searching for my own answers in life.
Dedicated to Paul
progress:

Preparing my color palette and sketching slash placing my subject following the golden ratio rule.

Blocking in shapes in blue to create a flow illusion of the water getting from background to my subject working in layers.

40*60 Oil on Canvas
Behind the painting there is a small dedication, who can be the one that got a hold of it now. I was wondering with this question for the past last month. Keep it as a reminder and follow his steps as an example. Also please get in touch with me, I am easy to find.
Disclaimer: This is not a recent work of mine but nevertheless it serves another purpose of just displaying it. The man that holds it now is unknown to me and I would like to change that if possible through this post. If you attended the 1st Steemfest you have seen this in the first floor of a coffee shop at the back streets of Oude Kerk.

I appreciate your post :) and I sure do miss chatting with Paul. He was definitely a treasure of a man and has left us all with fond memories.
I hoped to get some info of who got to hold of his stuff. I gifted this one to Paul about the time we both met at loutraki. Hoped to give my condolences to his family in person but in vein. If you have connections with them please transfer my thoughts and prayers to them.
Hope you are safe and sound.
I am still in contact with Paul's family and I will convey your thoughts and prayers. Daniel knows more, but I believe Paul's siblings have his posessions.
