Antes que nada quiero advertir, este post es informativo sobre la leyenda del Krampus, solo es entretenimiento para quienes disfrutan un poco del terror y el miedo, la informacion es recopilada de distintos lugares y leyendas, espero que lo disfruten.
La legenda del krampus proviene del folclore de los paises alpinos, cuenta la historia de una criatura que aterroriza y castiga a los niños que se portaron mal durante la temporada navideña, esta criatura tiene una apariencia demoniaca ya que cuenta con patas de cabra, cuernos, el cuerpo esta cubierto de pelo color negro y una lengua extremadamente larga, lleva con el un saco donde mete a los niños y los arrastra a las profundidades del infierno para devorarlos, no solo lleva un saco, en algunos relatos se dice que lleva siempre una rama de abedul con la cual golpea a los niños, esta criatura espantosa tiene como mision amedrentar a los niños para que obedezcan y se porten bien.

Se cree que el Krampus es hijo de Hel en la mitologia nordica, su nombre proviene de la palabra Krampen que significa Garra, el Krampus tiene miles de años pues su leyenda existe desde antes de la llegada de jesus, en la antiguedad los vecinos y colegas de aquellos paises se disfrazaban como aquella criatura para asustar a los niños y mayores y les daban regalos, usualmente les daban una especie de brandi de frutas destilada pero esa tradicion se vio afectada por la iglesia pues al ser una celebracion pagana estuvo mal vista y fue prohibida, sin embargo con el pasar de los años fue ganando popularidad y la celebracion esta devuelta donde se celebra con una marcha de personas disfrazadas del krampus con antorchas y ramas secas, asustan a los turistas, niños y adultos, a la iglesia no le gusta esto pero ya en la actualidad a nadie le importa.
