The photo above was taken last year during a lunch date with my wife, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every year for our wedding anniversary we visit one of our all time favourite restaurants, called Spirit House.
The Spirit House Restaurant is located in Yandina, Australia. It is nestled within tropical gardens and wraps around a tranquil lagoon with the soothing sound of running water from the central fountain. You honestly feel like you are in Bali or Thailand.

The main reason we return to Spirit House every year is for their Whole Crispy Fish with Tamarind Sauce, which is their signature dish. Is it an absolute taste sensation if your enjoy fish and Thai cuisine.
I was browsing the Spirit House website today and I noticed that they have a section on there where they share some recipes for free. Luckily for all of you reading this post and salivating at the idea of crispy tamarind fish, the recipe for this dish is available on the website as a PDF download.
