My Thoughts on Education
The Nigerian educational system for example is now in a very critical period. It is struggling to measure up with Educational systems in the developed world in the face of Stark realities of insufficiencies in important constituent organs Paramount among these are lack of instructional materials for teachers and learning materials for students, including lack of commendable textbooks for schools and colleges. Failure to meet these educational system as evidenced in low literacy levels of students, lack of interest in reading by the Nigerian public and rampant examination malpractices in schools and colleges.
One of the major challenges of education in the 21st century is how society may adequately provide functional Education to its ever increasing population. This problem assumes a staggering dimension in a developing country such as Nigeria where implementation of Educational systems/programmes have yielded little results.
I think government should do its best to allocate available resources to the competing sectors of the economy, the wise management of the resources, both human and materials, for the effective attainment of set Educational goals and objectives is often a formidable task.
My Thought on Education In the Form of Child Friendly School is a school providing quality Education to all children by addressing all issues that have an impact on the welfare, the rights and friendly environment during the learning process for every child.
