RE: Fun blocks, big cost - The LEGO Saga

in GEMS β€’ 2 months ago

Yeah, that's why I asked if you've never seen people in different shops digging in the Hot Wheels box πŸ˜‚ Once a month, we go to different shops and look through the boxes...it's a treasure hunt πŸ˜‚ It's worth it, some of them are really expensive when you sell them :) Oh, I know too much about this. What's wrong with me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm not so young anymore, but there's still a child in me πŸ˜‚
But it's funny how before young people never appreciate vintage cars, but now when they see prices, everyone wants to have it πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ my neighbour had old beetle when I was young and I was always so happy driving in it, just like you said, like president :) and then few years ago I meet my friend and her boyfriend has old red beetle...I was going crazy πŸ˜‚ He needed to drive me, there was no other option for him πŸ˜‚ Im making plans to make some good videos with drone while me and my friend driving...im really intresting how does videos will look like πŸ€”

Sort: Β

Guessing I'm the weird one, but when I see something, I buy it, did give away few to nephews, that would look amazing!
I dare you two to do a short video :)

Yes, they are the perfect gift for kids. I'm lucky, all my friends have little boys, so they're always happy with those gifts, and I don't need to complicate things πŸ˜‚ Oh, believe me, we will make this video, but first, we need to have a long conversation with her boyfriend to approve two women driving his baby car πŸ˜‚ I hope I will be the one driving πŸ˜‚ I'm the careful one, and she is a freaking reckless driver πŸ€”

I don't remember ever being in one, a few relatives had it way over 20 years ago, I've driven in many different cars, drove hundreds of fresh new cars, but nothing comes close too the old classics.
Better be the smart and safe behind the wheel, than sorry :)

Perhaps when I move back to Slovenia, I'll have a chance to buy an electric beetle πŸ˜‚ But at the moment, it doesn't seem like they'll manufacture it πŸ€” but I'm still holding onto hope πŸ˜‚

There are companies rebuilding them and making 'bolt on' conversion kit's for the old Beetle :)

So, I'm a girl and I don't think I completely understand what you mean with this πŸ˜‚ Are they taking parts from other cars and using them for old beetles? πŸ€” I also translated this sentence, but I'm still not sure what you mean πŸ˜‚ Please don't laugh πŸ˜‚

There are companies out there that similar to engine swapping, they are converting Beetles and other types of classic's to electric power with electro motor. Bolt on is something you buy in the shop and bolt right up like it was meant to be for it. To bolt right on Beetle without your need of fabricating, welding... You, well a mechanic can easly put everything together.

Of course Beetle was made to be simple enough that everyone were their own mechanics back in the old days. So yes, there is a possibility, Try and google it up :)
