Ok. ¡Qué difícil es hablar de uno mismo realmente! Más aún si uno intenta no caer en fórmulas demasiado usadas, en alguna simple lista de características o en la más básica descripción física de sí mismo. Qué puedo hacer -entonces- más que mi mejor esfuerzo. Después de todo, escribir es de las cosas que más me gusta hacer, a decir verdad. Pero, antes que nada, quisiera saludarlos. ¡Hola! ¿Cómo están? 😅
Mi nombre es Christian. Tengo algunos apodos (varios, diferentes, cariñosos, viejos y no tanto), pero por ahora pueden decirme Chris. Al fin y al cabo, no tengo un nombre tan feo. ¿O sí? ¿Qué opinan? Lo cierto es que mi madre pensó mucho ese nombre a la hora de dármelo y lo justo es que lo use, ¿no? No, mentira. Es el nombre que heredé de mi padre. Es decir, no lo pensaron nada. Pero igual es el que me tocó y está bien, es lo que hay.
Tengo 28 años. Tengo veintiocho años. ¿Por qué lo digo dos veces? Porque tengo 28 (¡¡VEINTIOCHO!!) años. ¿Son muchos? ¿Son pocos? Son 28. Ni idea. A veces me siento un señor mayor; otras, un adolescente tardío. Una vez leí una tira cómica que decía “la edad es relativa”. Y sí, es verdad. La edad -qué concepto- es algo ciertamente confuso, pero no creo que este sea el momento indicado para ponernos a filosofar sobre eso, ¿no?
¿Dónde vivo? Vivo en Buenos Aires, Argentina. ¿Conocen? ¿Son de acá? ¿Alguna vez vinieron de visita? ¿Tienen amigos acá? Yo nací acá, crecí acá, viví acá, estudié, trabajé e hice mil y una cosas acá. Siempre acá. Me hubiera gustado vivir en otros lugares, sí. Pero tampoco estoy disconforme con la geografía que me ha tocado recorrer. Igual cada vez que pienso en Buenos Aires y me genera algún tipo de afecto especial, me siento Gardel en alguna de sus películas. Solo que no me pongo a cantar tangos porque no me da la voz.
Estudié. Estudié un montón, pero no me recibí. Estudié el Profesorado en Lengua y Literatura en el Instituto Superior del Profesorado Dr. Joaquín V. González. Me quedaron algunas pocas materias por cursar y algunos finales por rendir. Tengo planeado finalizar la carrera, pero está difícil. Actualmente estoy inscripto y arranqué la cursada virtual (ya saben, modo pandémico), pero también estoy estudiando la Tecnicatura Universitaria en Informática de la Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento y practicando programación (javascript, node, react y otras magias más en las que todavía no soy muy bueno), por lo que no tengo tanto tiempo libre.
¿Mis pasatiempos? ¿Mis intereses? Me gusta mucho leer (cuentos principalmente, novelas también, algo de poesía), investigar, buscar datos y temas random y quedarme horas indagando y buceando en páginas algo flojas de veracidad (pero entretenidas). Me gusta escuchar podcast (true crime ftw), ver series, jugar en la PC (si me quieren invitar a jugar a algo, me prendo), me gusta mucho la informática, me gusta el hardware, me gusta aprender a usar nuevos software, armar y modificar mis compus, también disfruto de hacer ejercicio, correr, andar en bici, hacer algunos deportes de vez en cuando, me gusta mucho sacar fotos, el arte (todo tipo de arte), y escribir (aunque verán que no soy el rey del estilo) y -creo que puedo decir sin mentirles que esta es una de mis más grandes pasiones- el cine. No me considero |CINÉFILO|, no tengo el título. No fui a la universidad de cinefilia. Por lo tanto, no me puedo adjudicar tal título. Pero sí me gusta mucho ver películas. Así que estén atentos porque tal vez recomiende algunas y también algunas lecturas, por qué no.
Tal vez esto se esté extendiendo un poco más de lo que debería. Quién sabe. No les quiero robar mucho de su tiempo porque -en definitiva- tampoco les estoy diciendo demasiado. ¿Les parece -entonces- que este es un buen momento para terminar esta breve descripción de mi persona? ¿Creen que esta ha sido una presentación aceptable? ¿Les parece que me olvidé de incluir algo de vital importancia? ¿Necesitan saber cuál es mi número preferido? ¿Qué color es el que más me gusta? ¿Qué como los domingos a la tarde? ¿Cuántos perros tengo? ¿Si sé o no hacer malabares? Sí, sé (¡AH, UNA DUDA MENOS!). Tal vez puedan saber esto y mucho más en próximos posts. Pero por ahora creo que escribí suficiente.
Espero poder sumarme a esta comunidad y conocer gente piola, chévere, bacana, guay, fantástica, simpática o como sea que se le diga en donde viven (pueden comentar con más sinónimos si quieren, me gustaría). Well, turns out it is very hard to talk about yourself. It is even harder when you try not to use some old formulas or just make a simple list of characteristics. I guess I just might give it a try and do my best. After all, I do love writing. But first, let me say hi to all of you: hi! How are you?! 😅
My name is Christian. I have a few nicknames. Some of them are pretty cool. Some are old, some not that old. But you can call me Chris. I mean, I guess it is a nice one, isn't it? What do you think? my mother put a lot of thought in that name and it's only fair I use it. Nah, I'm just kidding. I have the same name as my father (luckily nobody calls me junior). It is a cool name tho. I like it.
I'm 28. I am 28 years old. Why do I say it twice? Because I'm 28 (28!!!). Is it a lot? Is it not? Am I old? I don't know. Sometimes I feel like I'm older than time itself, sometimes I still feel like a teenager. Age is confusing, but lets not focus on this for right now.
Where do I live? Where am I from? I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Have you ever been here? Do you know Buenos Aires? Do you have friends in Buenos Aires? I was born right here. I grew up here. I studied here, worked here. Always here. I'd like to live somewhere else if I ever have the chance, but I do like it here.
I studied. I studied a lot, but couldn't get my degree. I went to Instituto Superior del Profesorado Dr. Joaquín V. González. There, I studied Lengua y Literatura: Spanish Language (as in grammar, linguistics and that way too cool stuff) and Literature (universal literature, not just Spanish). I need to get a few more credits and pass some finals, but I don't know when I'll do it. Nowadays (<- is this a correct way to use it?/is this a word?), I'm studding Computer Sciences at Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento and practicing my coding skills (I'm not that good for now). So, as you can see, I don't get a lot of free time.
My hobbies? My interests? I like to read (a lot, short stories, novels, some poetry), I like to search random staff online (who doesn't?) and investigate about it. I like cinema and true crime podcasts, I like sitcoms, TV shows, I am a PC gamer: I love hardware, but I also love to learn to use new software. I enjoy building my own computers and modifying them. I also like training: running and biking mostly. Sometimes I play football or other sports. I like photography and writing (but I'm not that good at neither of them). Finally (I think finally), I LOVE CINEMA. I love films. I do. I don't consider myself a **cinephile**. I did not went to cinephiles university, so I didn't get my cinephile degree. But I do like movies. Maybe I can recommend a few movies or even some readings. Let me know if you think that could be cool.
Ok, this is getting way longer than it should be. So maybe it's time for me to stop wasting your time. I don't know if there's much left to say.
