Nato discussed the potential of a no-fly zone in Ukraine but agreed that it should not be undertaken, the alliance’s secretary-general has said.
Foreign ministers from the 30 Nato allies met in Brussels on Friday for crisis talks related to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Kyiv has called on Nato to impose a no-fly zone over the conflict.
“Allies agree that we should not have Nato planes operating in Ukrainian airspace or Nato troops on Ukrainian territory,” Jens Stoltenberg said after the meeting, adding that some countries did raise the issue during the talks.
This war could be another threat to the world, so let's all unite and start voting to stop or stop this war between Ukraine and Russia because this war will start or is going to start and World War 3 so we have all the social networks grouped together. And all the people have to start a voting system in groups to end this war. Hopefully one day it will end and as a result many soldiers and civilians of the country will be killed. Damage can occur in case of a famine so it is important to stop it. Everyone must support to stop it.

Russia-Ukraine war LIVE Updates: Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Kremlin's efforts to take over a massive nuclear power plant was "terror at an unprecedented level," and again called for NATO to implement a no-fly zone over his country. The US Embassy in Ukraine said it is a war crime to attack a nuclear power plant. Russian military forces have seized the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine's southeast, a local authority said on Friday. "Operational personnel are monitoring the condition of power units," it said on social media, adding that the efforts sought to ensure the operations were in line with safety requirements. Ukraine has said Russian forces attacked the plant in the early hours of Friday, setting an adjacent five-storey training facility on fire.
