Buenas tardes amigos de #hive y comunidad de #GEMS. Espero que todos estén teniendo un agradable fin de semana. Para mí ha sido bastante movida la semana ya que estado entre costuras; he hecho ropa y también algunos bolsos que ya tendré la oportunidad de mostrarles.
El día de hoy quiero enseñarles un bolso ecológico que hice para una tía. Le digo ecológico porque fue realizado con material que ya tenía en casa. No tuve que comprar nada y la tela mi tía ya la tenía desde hace unos meses.
Good afternoon #hive friends and #GEMS community. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. For me the week has been quite busy as I've been in between sewing; I've made some clothes and also some bags that I will have the opportunity to show you.
Today I want to show you an ecological bag I made for an aunt. I say ecological because it was made with material that I already had at home. I didn't have to buy anything and my aunt already had the fabric a few months ago.
Para la elaboración de este bolso utilicé:
• Tela (cualquiera que tengan y que sea amplia).
• 2 cintas poly (yo usé dos cintas de un bolso de viaje que ya no servía).
• Tijera, hilo, lápiz y cinta métrica.
• Una cremallera de 45cm.
• Máquina de coser.
To make this bag I used:
- Fabric (any fabric you have that is wide).
- 2 poly straps (I used two straps from a travel bag that was no longer in use).
- Scissors, thread, pencil and tape measure.
- A 45cm zipper.
- Sewing machine.
Para comenzar cortamos dos piezas de 45cm de ancho por 38cm de largo. Un listón de la misma tela que tenga 40cm de largo por 5cm de ancho que será el fondillo del bolso. Y dos cuadritos pequeños de tela.
Luego pasamos a coser los laterales de la tela dejando 4cm sin costura. Esto será donde peguemos la cremallera.
Una vez terminado con los laterales, cosemos el listón con el que daremos fondo al bolso.
To start we cut two pieces of 45cm wide by 38cm long. A strip of the same fabric that is 40cm long by 5cm wide that will be the bottom of the bag. And two small squares of fabric.
Then we sew the sides of the fabric leaving 4cm seamless. This will be where we will stick the zipper.
Once finished with the sides, we sew the ribbon with which we will give background to the bag.
Cuando ya tenemos hecha esta parte, procedemos a pegar las cintas poly. Para esto dividimos los 45cm de anchura y luego medimos 10cm a la derecha y 10cm a la izquierda a partir del centro de la tela.
Al inicio y el final de los 10cm de cada lado irán cosidas las cintas.
When we have this part done, we proceed to glue the poly straps. For this we divide the 45cm width and then measure 10cm to the right and 10cm to the left from the center of the fabric.
At the beginning and end of the 10cm on each side the ribbons will be sewn.
Dejando 3cm de cinta hacia dentro del bolso, pasaremos la primera costura para fijar las cintas. Estas cintas tendrán una costura en forma de cuadrado y luego en forma de equis (X) para darle fuerza.
Leaving 3cm of ribbon towards the inside of the bag, we will pass the first seam to fix the ribbons. These ribbons will have a square seam and then an X-shaped seam to give it strength.
Luego, a 0.50cm entre la orilla de la tela y la cremallera, coseremos esta última para fijarla. Como mi cremallera posee doble slider es posible coserla cerrada y luego la abriré.
Then, at 0.50cm between the edge of the fabric and the zipper, we will sew the zipper to fix it. As my zipper has a double slider, it is possible to sew it closed and then I will open it.
Cuando la cremallera esté completamente pegada, utilizare los cuadritos de tela en las puntas y los coseré para darle protección a la esta.
When the zipper is completely attached, I will use the fabric squares at the ends and sew them to protect the zipper.
Por último, meteré las puntas del cierre por las aberturas de 4cm del principio y coseré para darle el final a la creación de nuestro bolso de mercado ecológico.
Finally, I will put the ends of the zipper through the 4cm openings at the beginning and sew to give the final touch to the creation of our eco-friendly grocery bag.
It's a super idea, it's a lot that I don't sewing but this bag canve a good idea for start,so useful also for my job uniforms!!
