Im from Argentina, I live in the Valle de Iglesia, a small town on the Andes Mountains.
I recently moved here, although sometimes I feel like I knew this place before ...
Soy artista, concibo imágenes fijas y en movimiento, a través de técnicas como el video, la fotografía analógica y digital, la post-producción digital y el montaje. Mi búsqueda es constante. Me interesa la extrañeza de las formas y las figuras atípicas. Lo cotidiano visto de otra manera, con el ‘’ojo del tiempo’’ y la luz incidiendo o quemando.
Im an artist. I conceive still and moving images, through techniques such as video, analog and digital photography, digital post-production and editing. My search is constant. Im interested in the strangeness of atypical shapes and figures. Everyday life seen differently, with the "eye of time" and light incident or burning.
También ejecuto estas técnicas para explorar el mundo que me rodea, y para manifestar el universo que me compone. Me gusta verlo como un estudio a través del arte, las imágenes y la expresión corporal, que a veces deviene en un proceso artístico, y otras veces permanece como una experiencia.
I also execute these techniques to explore the world around me, and to manifest the universe that makes me up. I like to see it as a study through art, images and body expression, which sometimes becomes an artistic process, and other times it remains an experience.
Estudié en la Escuela de Cine y Fotografía. Allí me acerqué a la teoría y la técnica de la realización audiovisual -al menos lo que las instituciones consideran como tal-, y más adelante comencé a profundizar ya explorar con esos conocimientos. Con el tiempo me asumí en desacuerdo con las estructuras que promueve el sistema educativo, el circuito del arte, la ‘’élite del saber’’ y los intelectuales competitivos.
Por eso es que dejé la ciudad, llegué hasta aquí, y constantemente trabajo en mí, en mis hábitos y en mis recursos para llevar a cabo un modelo de vida en armonía con el entorno que habito.
Dedico gran parte de mis días a la cocina vegana instintiva. Cocinar para mí es como meditar, es alquimia, presente y dedicación. Me gusta convertir y crear recetas de todo tipo, explorando sabores, colores y texturas. Llevo conmigo un diario con anotaciones, tips y recetas que de seguro compartiré.
I studied at the School of Cinema and Photography. There I approached the theory and technique of audiovisual production -at least what the institutions consider as such-, and later I began to deepen and explore with that knowledge. Over time I assumed that I disagreed with the structures promoted by the educational system, the art circuit, the 'elite of knowledge' and the competitive intellectuals.
That is why I left the city, got here, and constantly work on myself, my habits and my resources to carry out a model of life in harmony with the environment where I live.
I spend much of my days on instinctual vegan cooking. Cooking for me is like meditating, it is alchemy, present and dedication. I like to convert and create recipes of all kinds, exploring flavors, colors and textures. I keep a diary with notes, tips and recipes that I will surely share.
Mis apuestas tienen un punto en común, y ese es el gesto mismo de Libertad, tanto propio como del resto de los seres que me rodean. Por eso adhiero a la lógica de las redes descentralizadas, por la posibilidad de difundir y monetizar el contenido que produzco, y de compartir y construir comunitariamente.
