The Chandranahan Lake is a small lake that fed by several springs and melting snow. It is the true source of Pabbar River, beside which we trek throughout this journey
I was so excited about our the trip that on the way to the Chandranahan Lake i was just imagining about the Vibe that we are going to feel there.

We have listen from many people that you must visit Chandranahan Lake because that place is undefinable.

On the way to the Chandranahan Lake we have seen many waterfalls and mountains which were totally covered with snow it was looking like that we are the first group of a people to reach that place

The lake is in an alpine zone, around the 14,000 feet — the altitude makes it a whole different adventure and more things over there were all covered with snow. The lake is in a kind of a bowl flanked by high snow peaks and we we were feeling different sensation over there. Trekking to the lake feels like almost being part of a big climbing expedition and experience over there was great.

Reaching the lake is quite an adventure — something trekkers loves the most . From your final camp at Litham, you climb up the towering Pabbar water falls to get to its snout which felt like great sensations. At the snout you can even watch the river falling down from under your feet 🐾. For most trekkers this is one of the high moments of this trek.

Dayara meadows is no ordinary meadows in trekking circles. In our experience, it is one of the most beautiful meadows that we have come across. Camping in these meadows is pure privilege. Starting your trek from Janglik, the Dayara meadows pop out at you almost out of nowhere! There’s a point on the trek that we call the “wow point”, where you exit the forests and suddenly see the meadows! It’s a moment to remember.

On the Dayara meadows you will see some of the most spectacular sunrise and sunsets, the colour of the meadows turning golden.

Added to that, there are big snow-covered cliffs across the valley from the meadows. Dayara meadows is one of the most perfect campsites out of all our treks!

From the snout, you cross five other alpine lakes (smallish lakes) to get to the final Chandranahan lake, deep inside the alpine valley.
Thanks for your visit
