Today the evolution of my athletes both inside and outside the dojo seems incredible to me, parents are the first to express their gratitude for providing such good tools and teachings to their children, it is very honorable, exhilarating to see, live and feel like My deepest intention has been achieved, which is to train beyond skillful athletes, is to reach the inner being of each of them, both the practitioner and his family, not only valuing the martial art, but also making it his lifestyle in conscience Well, we know that our most important standard is courtesy and respect for oneself and others, I always speak to athletes in a clear, honest, respectful, martial and spiritual way, putting them to be critical and thinking about what is correct , fair, kind as my teachers transmitted to me
I have always liked to project training beyond demanding with words, demonstrating how it is done, because, from the example I have noticed that children learn faster and strengthen knowledge from within, it is not the same as a voice of encouragement from the stands that the same voice of motivation from the line of effort, perhaps the athletes only see me with sensei, reference or a leader; as time passes I see them all as part of my martial family.
During the same year and a few months before what we live in the world today, we had the opportunity to carry out a kicking clinic to the full and today they were presented with their certificate, despite the exhausted faces and the Feeling of low energy levels of each one of the athletes, due to the training that was carried out, each radiated fullness and joy, they had even forgotten that they once did that clinic and today because it is the close of training, well, they went on vacation, we wanted Let them leave with a reminder at home that the martial artist is not only in the dojo but also adheres to all phases of their lives, it should be noted that I, as their sensei, was and am still very proud of the team that we make up.
When I was about to finish the class and the delivery of the certificates, the most outstanding athlete stopped me with respect and doubts, well, she thought that this interruption would shock me and far from that I found it curious, thinking that some kind of question or opinion I would express, what he said was, "Sensei from all of us we have a gift for you", my surprised face was not slow to be noticed he approaches to give me a small (in view of the sight) gift in question, everyone, representatives, athletes and myself We were also anxious as a team hehe! I still remember it and a smile always stands out on my face, when I finish opening the present I notice that it was and is a coach timer, yes! a stopwatch, perhaps for you who read these lines is not much.
Sin embargo, como dije al principio tenia poco de tomar esta iniciativa de formar una academia y entre tantos gastos, inconvenientes y situación país (Venezuela), no había podido reunir para adquirir un buen cronometro, mis lagrimas aunque luche por contenerlas se me escaparon irremediablemente de la alegría, honor y el regocijo de tomarse el tiempo y los recursos para regalarme tan significativo obsequio, hoy por hoy aun lo uso y resguardo como uno de mis mayores tesoros marciales.
