A few days ago, I had the pleasure of announcing (with this post League of Movies (HIVE WRITING CONTEST): Official Announcement.) the FIRST CINEMA WRITING CONTEST here at Hive (which means a lot to me because it is a very important personal achievement) and today, is the day to start the journey through the world of the Seventh Art.
So... Let's get start it?
This week, the challenge is to write a review about a movie that you’ve watched countless times (you know... those movies you already know absolutely everything that happens, scene by scene) and explain why you've watched it so much.
RULES:
- Each competitor can only post ONE ENTRY.
- Minimum of 300 WORDS per review.
- The initial title of your post MUST be "League of Movies (First Edition | Week 01)" + your movie title. For example:
- One of the FIVE MAIN TAGS of your post MUST be #leagueofmovies. You won't need to comment on the link to your post here because I'll search for it by the main tag.
- You MUST mention the post of THIS CONTEST within YOUR POST.
- Only ENGLISH, SPANISH and PORTUGUESE entries will be accepted for a better understanding.
ATTENTION: All those who have decided to write and participate in the contest must follow (strictly) all the rules. Otherwise, the post will not be valid.
JUDGMENT:
- Initially, my idea was to get at least two more people to share this work, but I thought the process would be more dynamic (and fun) if everyone could choose the winners based on a poll (which will be done through dPoll).
DEADLINE:
- All posts MUST be written by the end of APRIL 8th.
- APRIL 9th and 10th = 48 hours of voting on dPoll.
SCORING SYSTEM:
- The FIRST PLACE of each week will get 10 POINTS, the SECOND PLACE will get 07 POINTS, the THIRD PLACE will get 05 POINTS and the OTHER PARTICIPANTS will get 02 POINTS.
- AT THE END OF THE FOURTH WEEK, scores will be calculated and the THREE WINNERS will be elected. If there is a TIE, the prize will be EQUALLY SPLITTED.
PRIZES:
- FIRST PLACE: 20 HIVE
- SECOND PLACE: 10 HIVE
- THIRD PLACE: 05 HIVE
QUICK REMINDER: The contest will be WEEKLY and the prize will be MONTHLY. So, you all can be sure that I'll try very hard to keep this schedule on time.

I love writing reviews and I love movies; and yes, I'm always stuck to watching those that I enjoy. Strangely, I watched the movie How to loose a guy in 10 days by Kate Hudson & Matthew McConaughey just a few days back. I must've watched this movie more than 10 times and each time, I still laugh throughout the movie even though I know what's next.
Maybe it's my calling to share my thoughts of this movie.
