Camimo a la graduación 🌤 🚌 On the road to graduation

in GEMS2 years ago

A year ago I embarked on one of the best trips of my life. A trip to receive my second undergraduate degree. I am a Civil Engineer, as many people know me; however, due to things in life, which I will tell you later, I also studied Public Accounting.

I live in Barquisimeto, Lara State and the graduation ceremony would be in Valera, Trujillo State, Venezuela. The road was long and among all the graduates we rented a bus to follow the journey of 233 kilometers in a period of approximately 4 hours.

We got up very early, making provisions for breakfast, snacks and the required attire. I remember that I almost didn't sleep that day writing for a #Hive contest in the Architecture+Design Community. Somehow or another this platform becomes part of our lives.

The scheduled time for the event was quite close to the arrival time of the trip, so I preferred to go dressed in graduation attire, in case there were delays.

So I left home. Alone because no companions were accepted for the trip. The number of seats on the bus was limited. My apologies because the picture was not clear; it was at night and the artificial light did not help.

The night was cold, so I wore my beloved Eskimo jacket for the breakfast photo. The atmosphere was fun thanks to everyone's enthusiasm for this new experience.

Algunas fotos a continuación:

During the ride we enjoyed some Venezuelan landscapes, characteristic of plains and mountains in the background. Some photos below:

Finally, we arrived at the Universidad Valle del Momboy in Valera, where our precious act awaited us.

In the next post I will tell you about the degree ceremony and what inspired me to study this other career.... Have a great day!
