Hello Splinterlands friends, I hope you all are feeling well and safe. Today I am sharing my entry for the weekly battle challenge "THEME: MANTICORE" which is offered by @splinterlands. You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate visit this link.

ABOUT MANTICORE:
MANTICORE is a melee attack monster from the dragon splinter which takes 4 mana and having two abilities Reach and Flying.

Battle Ruleset
Battle Summoner
I choose DRAKE OF ARNAK summoner for this battle, which is untamed edition Rare Dragon Summoner. I used this summoner for the first time and I have never used Dragon summoner in my battles. This Summoner gives 1 shield to all monsters.
1. UNDEAD MINOTAUR
In the first position, I used UNDEAD MINOTAUR which is a common Death Summoner. It has a double strike ability. I always use HAUNTED SPIRIT in the first place but the ruleset was only of even mana.
2. MANTICORE
In the second position, I used the theme of weekly challenge MANTICORE because of its Reach ability. It gives -1 melee damage. I used this card for the first time just for entry in the weekly challenge but the experience was good. I will upgrade this card when I upgrade the Dragon summoner.
3. DARK HA'ON
In the third position, I used DARK HA'ON which is a melee attack legendry death monster. I used it because of Taunt(all enemy monsters attack this monster if they are able to) ability. I always use death summoner, so my brother gifts me this card.
4. PHANTOM SOLDIER
In the fourth position, I used my most loving death monster PHANTOM SOLDIER. I love this monster because of its ability(Flying) and-2 magic attack.
5.BOOGEYMAN
In the fifth position, I used BOOGEYMAN which is a magic attack death monster. The magic attack monster directly attacks on health instead of armor unless there is no change in the rules. My strategy was that, if there is an armored monster in the enemy team it will decrease the health of that monster. I got this level 3 gold card in my quest reward.
OCTOPIDER
In the last position I used OCTOPIDER which is a Rare Death monster. I mostly use it in my battles of high mana because of its -3 damage.
Did your strategy work?
Yes, my strategy worked very well and I won this battle. 💪 💪 💪
Do you use the MANTICORE often? Why or why not?
No, I used MANTICORE for the first time because I have not upgraded my Dragon Summoner yet and I don't play with Dragon Summoner. The first experience was good and I will level up this card when I upgrade my Dragon Summoner.
