RE: Transylvania Classic Race 2020

in GEMS4 years ago

As anyone who's passionate for cars will know, there's nothing better than a road rally, and especially so when it involves classic cars. Even if it means imaging a world way before we're born, back when Ford Model As were roaming around, the atmosphere is incredible. It's interesting to see something as futuristic as a Tesla parked in the same lot as a that wonderful Ferrari 308 GTS. Cheers for sharing the awesome photos and stories! ❤️

Indeed! I loved the contrast between vintage/old cars and the modern masterpieces of today's roads! Thanks a lot for checking out the post, I'm happy you liked it and it was a great experience for me! :)

It's always fun to check out people's stories on car meets, and rallies. With Covid slowly receding, and we're opening up bit by bit, even more automotive events are being held. I believe the legendary Mille Miglia is coming this October, and there's another rally in Switzerland. So much goodness, and hopefully being done safely ❤️

Sounds like some great plans for you! I don't know when it will be held the next such event in my country but hopefully I won't miss it. Loved the experience! ❣️

It's been a while since I last been to one, but it's definitely something I need to experience again once Covid's buggered off 😅. Going to car meets, motorshows, and concours events are the best! I've just learned about an event in Romania called The Sinaia Concours, and wow does it look exciting!

Oh wow! I live in Romania and never heard about that one from Sinaia! The bad thing is that most of the time these kind of contests/exhibitions are way too little promoted and that's how most likely only some guys hear about it. But hopefully I'll get to see this one as well sometime! :)

That's quite true. There's a lot of concours and rallies that are only known to those who peek hard enough, with the exception of major ones like the Concours d'Elegance. Though I suppose that might be the point, to remain anonymous enough, while still attracting the keenest of enthusiasts; just like a hidden cave system, or a private beach waiting to be explored :-D

Well said! Couldn't say it better :)
