Years back we used to host a New Year's Eve Polar Bear Plunge. We would party all night long with friends and family. Then at midnight jump in. Thankfully my mom would have hot towels fresh out of the dryer waiting for us. A good time was had by all.

I've been watching a show with Wim Hof where celebrities are doing some challenges, including jumping into holes in a frozen lake. Feels a bit like that with our pool sometimes. It doesn't get super hot here.

In September when the pool gets too cold to enjoy we've often talked about coming up with a creative way to heat the pool. We know there are pool heaters, but some of the creative pool heating we've seen on YouTube makes us laugh and nod our head at their creativity.
We had some solar panel things to pump the water through, but they didn't make a huge difference and eventually sprung a leak. Just have to live with the British summer.
