Another month, another bunch of updates! Really made a lot of progress the last few weeks. Enough that I was able to record what is essentially a full run of a 'level' in the game. Generally every run will have a level 4, 7, and 10 boss. The level 10 boss being the final boss of the run. In this you can see the mini bosses are just the larger enemy groups. And the final boss is the a somewhat generic walker, laser shooting mech! With a just as generic name, Megamecha 3000!

Other things since the last update you might notice is more abilities! Not all of them actually function yet but a few of the passives do and Maiya's Jolt ability lets her dash as a ball of electricity.

Pretty happy with how it is going so far. Need to add a lot more content now and there are a few more major systems to be added still, like talents/permanent upgrades and the story telling.

I'll keep the typing short today and just let the video speak for itself. :D

Great progress, keep it up!

Thanks! Trying to stay focused. Still have a ton to do. 😅

I believe that this can already be considered a very solid base, I really liked the effects and I believe that, given the fluidity with which everything is running, it has been programmed well optimized.
One question, which engine are you currently using?

Thanks! It does perform pretty well and I think that is mostly thanks to the engine. I am using ORX as the game engine. Very nice for 2D games.
