My favourite time of day is when the sun goes down. Whatever season we happen to be in, it could be 9:30pm in the Summer, but 5:30pm in December! These photos were taken around 9:15pm or so, here on the flat Canadian Prairies, yesterday. I must say, the colour orange for me is the best part of the sunset. What is your favourite time of day?

This is always something about Golden Hour in morning or dusk that is special to me. Sometimes just the amount of "color" in the light is amazing and makes me smile.
I know I find every sunset to be magical and I hope I never take one for granted.

Very vibrant colours. The roofs and trees give an interesting contrast. The last image (in b&w) is quite abstract, I like it.

Cloud layering is usually better at night when the colors reflect the color of the sun. Sunset is the end of the day, giving me recharge for the next day. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love sunrise too, the start of a brand new day, the brilliance of color to light up my day.

It's just different, that is all. It is all brilliant! They are both amazing on different ends of our day. It is hard to not love them both!

The sunset light was really one of my favorite sights.
I think both the color and monochromes have their own feel to them. Really like the colorful skies, the with the black and white the contrast in the clouds really stands out. Nice set!
