Finally we are at the last day of the year. It is New Year’s Eve. What if any are your Big plans for tonight? Looking back on the year that was, our Hive has not performed as excepted unfortunately. Fortunately though, 10 cents seems to be a solid floor to build up from (what say you?). Most alt coins have also been underperforming (including steem which tends to always be 30% less than Hive for some reason). As it turns out bitcoin is the clear winner this year. In 2026 Hive outperforms bitcoin though. I’ll be proven correct, put a bookmark in this post. Silver and Gold have been very strong assets to hold this year, especially silver! Let's hope for a better year for Hive, but until they address the wasteful HBD fund spending and inflation things won't get better. They could even head for a nickel... So I'm happy with close to ten cents for now, a nice rally to sixty cents again would be awesome. To think it was only a year ago when we were riding high at sixty cents!

With the surge in precious metals, I'm realizing I don't own enough of them, they're kind of inaccessible over here and I'm not so optimistic in accumulating digital versions of them. Fingers crossed on Hive outperforming bitcoin this year, Happy New Year :)

Happy New Year! This year will be a real gamble... the stock market bubble keeps going and Trump is going to do everything he can to keep it that way. If it finally bursts, it will take crypto with it, while metals will be safe and go up. But if it just keeps going, well maybe Hive will see some money rotate into it. Let's hope! I'll be continuing to gamble on HIVE!
Even if crypto blows up this year, I don't think we go much lower. Ten cents has a lot of support it seems. Time will tell. Have a great new year!
