Random Friday

DSC00522.jpeg

It’s Friday, October 2nd. Another Random Friday. Tell me if you have any Big plans for this weekend? How was your week, anything exciting happen? Myself, it's back to work after a week of holidays spent in British Columbia exploring the mountains. Looking forward to my next set of holidays which begin next week. Our Canadian “Thanksgiving” is celebrated next weekend as well. Americans do Thanksgiving in November, we do it in October. Why? Not sure! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Weekend.

I loved the snowmen! What a fun find to photograph! They aren't the fanciest one's I've ever seen but it's the character that makes them interesting! I also love that shot of the Buckhorn sign with all the antlers attached to the pole. What a cool find!

That forest shot is beautiful too. I miss the smell off the pines and hearing the wind blow through them. This weekend I'm down with Achilles tendonitis, hopefully it it will recover quickly. It sucks not being able to walk around much, even in the house...

I hope the next vacation coming up for Canadian Thanksgiving has a nice destination already planned out. I bet a lot of those mountainous locals are starting to get snow already as it's October! Thanks for sharing the great pictures!

Dang, that sucks. Hope you recover soon!

Snow flyin at higher elevations already, will need to stick with lower elevations.

Great shots, I'm starting to think it's difficult to take pictures in Canada and not actually find a picture without snow, irrespective of whether it's summer, winter or fall. It's looking incredibly sunny, but the snow will always be present hehehe.

Yes, one can find snow somewhere in Canada -- yearround! Especially the higher the elevation.

Exactly, you'll always see that when you take a look at the mountainside

Coming back from a week in the British Columbia mountains with another holiday stretch already lined up next week softens the return to work.

100%, maybe I have it too easy lol.

That snow-covered tree trunk is truly unique; at first glance, it looks like a statue, as its "waist" and "head" are clearly defined.

A typical Canadian "winter" scene.

Exquisite natural beauty

Hey thanks.
