Loving photography and wildlife when my friends invited me to go on an African safari tour I jumped at it wanting to experience the thrilling and unforgettable adventures we were to embark on and that it was, been out their seeing those vast plains stretching out for miles over the horizon every moment felt alive wondering what nature was going to reveal next.

The excitement starts of at dawn when you begin to move across them vast plains in an open-top vehicle and hearing the distant roar of a lion you know then you are in the wild and the day is just beginning then you quickly realize that here your in their kingdom and you are merely just a visitor the animals rule here.

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
